We've found a home in the Hunter.

For a long time, people have asked us where they can taste Silkman. We make tiny parcels of wine and don't have a cellar door of our own, so finding our wines has usually meant tracking down a bottle on a wine list or ordering online.

Now you can pull up a seat at Wine House Hunter Valley on McDonalds Road and taste the range like a local.

What's in the glass

The Silkman Experience is $30 per person. It's a relaxed run through the wines we love making, from the Hunter classics to our more contemporary styles.

Shaun and I started Silkman back in 2013 as a side hustle. We wanted to make the wines we'd happily drink with friends. That's still the plan, and the tastings at Wine House Hunter Valley let us extend that experience to a convenient Hunter Valley location.

Stay a while

Wine House is a good spot to linger. There are more than 35 wines by the glass, grazing boards, and good coffee. Sit in the lounge or out on the terrace by the lake. The kids can run around on the lawn, and the dog is welcome on the terrace too.
