Soft and supple up front, showing attractive raspberry and mocha fruit. Cloves, mulberry and subtle oak add complexity. The Shiraz–Pinot blend brings an extra flavour dimension to a classic Hunter red. Very easy-drinking, Burgundy-inspired in style.

This wine has an endearing lightness, surprising considering the warmth of the season, with fruit purity at the fore. Redcurrant and cranberry fruit with a scattering of dried herbs and gentle background savouriness. There is a beautiful harmony and freshness to the wine, and the palate is deliciously long. The longer it is open, the more the fruit emerges and the more layered the wine becomes.
