Bright citrus, struck match and tight, layered aromatics. Concentrated, intense and savoury with saline notes and orange peel.  Stone fruit, preserved lemon, almond meal and reduction drive the palate. Great texture and mineral acidity, finishing with cashew and spice. Young, with enormous promise - one of the Hunter’s finest examples of contemporary Chardonnay - we think.

Bright, expansive, lemony fruit is layered with accents of almonds, oatmeal and nougat. No single element dominates, with the intense fruit, quality oak, and clean sulfide nuances seamlessly integrated. The filigree acidity is exquisitely fine and intricate, channelling the flavours through the length of the wine. It is one of Australia's finest chardonnays – long, pure, age worthy and memorable.
